WHO WE ARE:
Great Minds Think Alike (GMTA) is a student orchestrated event created to foster positive relationships between physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare team counterparts early in their academic careers. GMTA is the only student organized and student lead event in Oklahoma that provides a platform for both Medical and PA students to come together and promote their profession while discussing the best ways to care for patients.
OUR NEED AND HOW YOU CAN HELP:
October 8th, 2018 will be our 6th Annual Great Minds Think Alike dinner. This event provides a place for Medical students and PA students to speak with working Physician-PA teams on how they interact to create the best outcomes for their practices, and most importantly, their patients. This year the GMTA team is excited to recruit a nationally known speaker, Jeff Evans, for our annual dinner event (see his bio above in project owner section). The cornerstone of Jeff's message, Servant Leadership, is paramount for success in our professional as well as personal lives. Jeff points out that we are all guides, and it's important that we lead from a place that is centered around fostering the success of others instead of focusing on our own personal accolades or summits.
Jeff has also agreed to speak at a lunch-n-learn while in Oklahoma on October 8th from 12-1pm in the Nicholson Tower, Suite 5900. This event is open to the entire OUHSC campus, as well as the surrounding community. We would love to be able to provide food for attendees of the lunch-n-learn. Due to addition of a lunch-n-learn event, we need to raise supplemental funds to make the 6th Annual Great Minds Think Alike a success. We would greatly appreciate your support in fostering positive relationships between Physicians and PAs.

Your donation will sponsor one event meal for a current OU HSC student.
This donation amount would sponsor one student's entire event attendance.
Your donation will help provide equipment and supplies to make this event spectacular!
