We are proud to announce that we are having an official unveiling event for this year's vehicle! Our team has worked hard to get the car finished and ready for competition early this year, and we want to invite you to celebrate with us. We will be revealing the name of the car, giving a small presentation about our team and having a short tour of our workspace. The unveiling event will be held in Room 200 of the Rawl Engineering Practice Facility at the University of Oklahoma at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 4th. We thank you for your support of our team and look forward to representing our university at competition this year!

It’s been a while since we’ve dropped an update here on Thousands Strong, and we have got some big news for you all. As of yesterday evening, our 2019 vehicle is functional and moves under its own power! We’ve come a long way to get to a running car, and all of our team members have been working incredibly hard over the past couple of weeks to get us there.

We just wanted to again offer a big thanks to all of you who have supported us this year, and to emphasize that there is no way we could have done this without you. There’s a long way to go until competition, but we have been able to make some incredible progress and we’re very proud of our team for their efforts.

With the chime of the Oklahoma Memorial Union’s bell tower striking 11am, our Thousands Strong campaign for the year draws to a close. Thanks to your donations, we raised an incredible amount of money to cover our vehicle and competition expenses! Our team has been absolutely blown away by your generosity, and we would just like to say thanks for your support this year! Wow! Thank you to all of our donors for helping us reach our goal already! We are halfway through our campaign and have about two weeks left, and you've already helped us raise nearly 130% of our original goal. In light of this amazing progress, we have decided to stretch our goal to $8,500.

We have seen how much can be done with such amazing supporters, and we know that with your help we can reach our new goal. These funds are allowing us to be the best team possible for this year and for future years.
