Our Crowdfunding Groups
We are spending our LAST DAY of PY 2019 at a university in a Conkal, Yucatán! Our population mainly consists of students and adults who have experienced noise exposure. We are so sad that it is our last day, because we have had a spectacular week! Thank you so much to everyone who has and continues to support our endeavors. It means so much to us, and it means even more to the people we help in the Yucatán!
Day 3 and 4 in Yucatán are officially finished! Yesterday we were at a school in Mérida, Yucatán and today we were at a convention center in Campeche. We saw over 500 patients with a variety of hearing and balance needs. These past few days have been an amazing experience where all of our students have really developed their clinical audiology skills. We can’t believe that tomorrow is our last day for PY 2019!
Hola! Day 1 of Project Yucatán was a success!
We screened over 300 children and adults at a hospital in Tekax, Yucatan. We are so thankful for your continued support on our endeavors to help this population get the hearing healthcare they deserve! We have 2 days left in our campaign, and every donation will go directly towards funding this trip.

Currently we have raised $1,025 which means we are 29% funded. There are still 24 days left in our campaign, and we believe we can make it to our goal! We leave for our trip in less than 3 weeks, and we are working on fundraising and gathering supplies needed to serve our patients.

A gift at this level will provide bottled water for one day in the Mexico heat and humidity. Air-conditioning is very limited in the locations we serve.
Mosquitoes are thick in the Yucatan Peninsula and many of the locations we serve are outdoors. A gift at this level will provide bug spray for one student.
A gift at this level will allow one student to experience the local cuisine and culture of Mexico.
A gift at this level will provide lodging for one student the entire week! After travel costs, lodging is one of the biggest expenses our students pay.
Traveling to Mexico is very expensive. A gift at this level will cover airfare expenses for one student.
A gift at this level will FULLY fund one student to attend Project Yucatan.
