Our Crowdfunding Groups
The OU College of Dentistry is proud to provide high-quality dental care at low costs. Our prices are, on average, one third of the cost you will find in private practice. However, despite our efforts to keep the cost of care low, there are still many people across our state who are in need of financial assistance.
Each year the J. Dean Robertson Society provides the college with $50,000 worth of indigent care funds to assist patients in need who otherwise would not be able to afford the cost of dental care. These funds are made possible through the generosity of people like you!
The college is asking our alumni and friends to help our fellow Oklahomans receive dental care by making a gift to the J. Dean Robertson Society.

As dental professionals know, oral health can often affect other areas of ones health. Your gift will not only help a patient in need receive dental care, you will be making a dramatic difference in his or her life. As an added bonus, your gift will also help to ensure our students receive a clinical education that is second to none!

Established in 1988, the J. Dean Robertson Society is the private annual support group for the OU College of Dentistry; and is among the largest fundraising efforts for the college. Each year, the J. Dean Robertson Society provides critical funding to further the mission of the college.
The society is composed of both alumni and friends who are dedicated to the advancement of excellence throughout the college. Members of the J. Dean Robertson Society show their support through generous gifts to the college each year.
The society is named after Dr. Joseph Dean Robertson, Oklahoma's first licensed pediatric dentist, and one of the OU College of Dentistry's founding faculty members.
This year is a milestone year as we celebrate the 30th Year of the J. Dean Robertson Society!
Your gift will help cover the cost of treatment for a patient in need. In addition, your gift will also help to continue to enrich a student's educational experience.

Dental fillings are an important aide in restoring the health of a tooth. For $100, you can help an individual receive a filling and stop further tooth decay.
There are a variety of reasons for a tooth extraction: disease, trauma, or overcrowding. Your gift of $250 will help an individual in need (and in pain!) cover the cost of an extraction.
One of the most common dental procedures, a crown will not only restore a decaying tooth, it also improves the appearance of a tooth, which can build confidence in an individual. Your gift of $500 will help someone in need receive a dental crown.
