Homecoming Reunion Week 2019

*Donate today for your name + the name of anyone you donate in honor of to be featured on screen at the beginning of our annual Rah! Rally in the Lloyd Noble Center!*

Who We Are:

As the oldest event on campus, Homecoming brings students, alumni, and the greater Norman community together to celebrate our university and the traditions that make it so special. This year, campus organizations will team up to compete in our mainstay events like the Rah! Rally and Parade, as well as decorate the campus with intricately crafted boards, banners, and chalk drawings. Alumni are honored throughout the week as we welcome them back to the campus that they will always call home. The theme this year is "There’s Only One" and celebrates unity, togetherness, and strength in numbers, and the fact that we are a campus and family united as one during Homecoming Week. Homecoming Reunion Week will be held from October 14th-19th, concluding with the football game vs West Virginia on October 19th.

Why We Need Your Help:

Throughout recent years, Homecoming has expanded at an exponential rate. In an attempt to make our events more inviting and inclusive, the magnitude of Homecoming Week has grown. These expansions can be seen in the relocation of the Rah! Rally to Lloyd Noble Center, new and more inclusive alumni events, and a revamped competition structure that makes it easier for student organizations to participate in Homecoming. All of these additions help us better serve our community but also come with a higher cost. For organizations, the cost of materials (float supplies, Rah! Rally costumes, etc.) is often daunting. Our executive team also faces similar difficulties in funding our events.

Your Impact:

Your donation will help sponsor campus organizations, continue these events, and create new venues to make Homecoming more accessible. The more money we raise, the more students will be helped. The effects that Homecoming has been able to have in the past few years would not have been remotely possible without the generosity of our Thousands Strong donors, and we could not be more grateful. We are very appreciative of our donors and supporters, and once again are asking for your help.

*All donations made to our campaign are 100% tax deductible.

Thank You:

Thank you for your support of Homecoming Reunion Week 2019. In addition to donating, please help us promote this campaign amongst your friends, family and alumni through social media, email, or word of mouth. Every dollar you give will go towards making the OU family feel more a part of this week that has been a special part of OU history. You will be creating and maintaining an event we can call our own. Thank you again for your generosity. We can't wait to see you on campus October 14th-19th as we kick-off Homecoming Reunion Week 2019!

Choose a giving level

Crimson Level

In exchange for your support at this level, we will display your name & the name of anyone you donate in honor of on screen at Lloyd Noble Center at our annual Rah! Rally. This is truly a special chance to be recognized and honored at one of Homecoming's largest events!

Boomer Level

A gift of this size is equivalent to the average cost of one Rah! Rally participant's costume.

Sooner Level

A donation of $50 is equivalent to the cost of a sash for a member of the Homecoming Royalty Court. Each year, Royalty members are nominated by student organizations on campus.

Spirit Level

A gift of this size is equivalent to the average cost of creating an alumni banner. Each competing student organization creates a banner welcoming back alumni to display on the stadium parking garage.

Traditions Level

The average baseline cost of hosting Homecoming's annual Sark After Dark athletic competition in the Sarkeys Fitness Center.
