The Sooner Stilettos are teaming up with OU Women’s Basketball Coach Sherri Coale and Stephenson Cancer Center to fight a tough opponent – cancer.
A cancer diagnosis is the first step in a long journey, one that can be physically, emotionally and financially overwhelming. Recognizing these many challenges, Stephenson Cancer Center assists patients through the process by providing financial navigators, nutritional guidance, symptom management and other supportive care services.
Services like these are only made possible through philanthropic dollars – and we need your help to continue offering these resources that are vital to the well-being of many patients and their families.

More than 40 percent of patients travel more than 50 miles to get to nationally recognized cancer care at Stephenson Cancer Center. The cost of gas adds up quickly. Your gift will provide a gas card to a cancer fighter in need of assistance.
Nutritional shakes and drinks, lotions, medications and other over-the-counter products that help alleviate side effects may not be met by healthcare coverage. Your gift will provide women battling cancer with life-improving necessities.
Cancer patients and their caregivers are often away from their home for weeks – or even months – at a time. Your gift will provide hotel lodging for a cancer fighter in need of assistance during treatment.
Approximately 1 in 5 Oklahoma women are without health insurance and are unable to receive a routine mammogram. Your gift will provide mammogram services for Oklahoma women while contributing to public health research on how to improve access to care.
