The Conferences
The George McLaurin Male Leadership and Sylvia A. Lewis Women's Leadership Conferences recruit some of the most valuable perspective students to the University of Oklahoma. The Office of University Community and Admissions and Recruitment identify outstanding incoming freshmen and high school students in the Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Dallas, and Houston school systems. April 28th - 30th 2017 will be the fourth conference weekend for programs like this to be hosted at OU and we plan to bring 200 young men and women, many of which will be first-generation college students, to tour the OU campus, network, and find a home at our University.
How You Can Help
Donations help fund this conference, which is the first, vital step in reaching out to these students who otherwise may not have thought that being a part of the OU family is possible. Once these students are on campus, they will receive the resources and knowledge they need to make the college dream a reality!
