Funds raised on the OU Giving Day will go directly to the Gallogy College of Engineering's unrestricted scholarship fund. Scholarships through this fund will be awarded to undergraduates and graduate students in any of the College's seven schools of any major. Dollars raised on this day will be awarded in 2017! Your gift will make an immediate difference in a student's life.

2016/17 Annual Cost of Attendance (*average tuition and fees only)
In the 70's, the state of Oklahoma paid 54% of the cost to educate an OU student, while the students and their families paid approximately 10%. In 2016, times have changed. The state pays 12% of the education costs, leaving students and their families to pay approximately 40%.
This shift has not only made it hard on the University to make ends meet, but has left a heavy burden on students and families who work hard to have access to the same quality education as the OU alumni who came before them. If you received a scholarship during your time at OU, you understand the importance that they play. It's time to pay it forward! Share the support you received, with the next generation of engineers.
In true engineering fashion we are having a competition. The school that raises the most money, will receive $1,000 to be deposited into their school's scholarship fund. Make sure to list your school (i.e., AME, CBME, CEES, CS, ECE, EP, ISE, or SBME) in the "Gift Dedication". Good Luck!
