About Gaylord College.
With 1,000 undergraduates, Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma is home to professional storytellers and creatives. Our students represent five majors: Advertising, Creative Media Production, Journalism, Professional Writing, and Public Relations. We empower aspiring foreign correspondents, ad and pr execs, writers, and blockbuster film producers from the first day in our programs with the ability to begin gaining valuable professional and creative experience. Gaylord College gives our majors the tools to succeed in the dynamic media industries, but also in just about any career you can imagine.
The Cause.
Gaylord College is committed to experiential learning opportunities for our students. Your gift will enable our students with financial need to take advantage of opportunities and resources that will be life-changing. Examples include travel for internships, conference travel/registration fees, lodging for internships, etc.
Our Goal.
With your help we can continue to grow the Student Experience Fund so that more Gaylord College students, with financial need, have access to life-changing experiential learning experiences as that all-important step to successful careers. Your support will have a direct and positive impact on a Gaylord College student.
