OU Law is thrilled to participate in The University of Oklahoma's first OU Giving Day! The money raised today will play a critical role in the law school's ability to fund scholarships, provide public interest summer stipends, support student organizations, and keep alumni and friends connected to the College of Law.
Today's contributions will be leveraged with our other financial resources, stretching private donations and public funding to meet the most urgent needs of the College of Law.
The Need
OU Law is committed to providing the highest quality legal education at an affordable price, which is why we have frozen tuition the last four years. However, with record state budget cuts, and more likely on the horizon, we need your help more than ever. Our goal is to raise $10,000 on Giving Day, which will provide critically needed funding for scholarships and important law school initiatives.
How Can You Help?
It’s simple. You can share our message through your social media channels, email your friends and family, and talk to your colleagues. We believe that our alumni and friends have the power to support OU Law's important scholarship and programming initiatives.

Student organizations are the life-blood of OU Law. From an incredible Student Bar Association, to numerous student organizations, the law school is called upon frequently to financially support important student-led initiatives.
As the state's only public law school, many OU Law students choose careers in public interest or public service. To get these positions, the students volunteer their time with nonprofits and/or government agencies over the summer. We want our students to pursue the career of their dreams - not one determined by their expenses. A donation at this amount will help pay simple things like parking, gas, and other expenditures.
This important society provides alumni social events throughout the year and keeps alumni connected to the College of Law.

The Amicus Society supports a critical mission at OU Law to provide fellowship funding to those students who secure public interest positions over the summer.
This society has become one of the most vital at OU Law, increasing the number of scholarships available to our students. 100% of this $1500 scholarship will go directly to a deserving OU Law student.
The Dean’s Leadership Circle offers the law school dean resources to take advantage of exciting opportunities for faculty and students and to support innovative programs that will enhance the legal education provided by the OU College of Law. With state funding budget cuts, this special circle has become vital to the law school's continued success.
