Scholarship Support is Essential to Student Success
OU-Tulsa student enrollment has increased by 43% over the years, with more than 1,300 students and medical residents currently enrolled on campus. OU-Tulsa students can choose from a varied selection of more than 30 graduate and selected undergraduate programs in the colleges of Allied Health, Architecture, Arts and Sciences, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Liberal Studies, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Public Health. OU-Tulsa is the only campus in the state where these different disciplines are all in one location, providing a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary research and study.
Research shows that two-thirds of college students now graduate with loans, and their average college debt is nearly $20,000 — an increase of more than 50% since the early 90s. Combined with this staggering statistic is the reality that many OU-Tulsa students are working to juggle an education with jobs and families. Scholarship support is essential to helping OU-Tulsa students fulfill their educational dreams.
How You Can Help and Double the Difference
A lack of funding for an OU-Tulsa student can easily curtail college ambitions, but your support will provide these students with the opportunity to pursue their degree. Specifically, funds generated through this campaign will provide a minimum of nine scholarships to OU-Tulsa students over the next year.
A generous donor will match all gifts made to the Tulsa Giving Day Campaign until the $5,000 goal is met. Your gift will be matched dollar for dollar. With your help, we will raise $10,000 for Tulsa student scholarships during Giving Day!
