MIRS Alumni Challenge

Get ready for a challenge between the classes!

UPDATE! We are thrilled to announce we have an anonymous alumni who has agreed to MATCH every donation made to this campaign…

Every gift made is now DOUBLE THE DONATION!

The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (MIRS) Faculty and Staff CHALLENGE each graduating class to try and raise the most money to support a needs-based scholarship for our amazing MIRS students!

Faculty and staff care about our students, and we understand that paying for your education can be tough. Some of our students work two or three jobs and attend classes full-time. Some students even drop out of their program because they cannot afford to continue without financial assistance. We are confident we can make it all the way to our goal of $2,000 (and more!) with the help of alumni like you, helping us spread the word.

October is National Medical Ultrasound Month and November 5-11 is National Radiologic Technology Week. We want to celebrate our professions with you during this friendly competition!

Please consider giving to this awesome campaign and share our campaign with your friends, family and colleagues!

Remember, all gifts make a difference, no matter the amount!

Thank you for your support MIRS Alumni! We appreciate you!

Every Gift Makes a Difference

Every single gift, no matter the amount, makes a huge difference in the lives of our future professionals!

We Empower Life

And you can, too! By giving at this level you are helping to maximize human potential through allied health interprofessional education, research, care, and community engagement.

The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation educates imaging and therapy professionals through higher education, advanced continuing education and career advancement. A gift at this level will make a huge impact on the education we can provide!

The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences educates students to be competent, professional, entry-level practitioners capable of assuming leadership roles in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Medical Dosimetry. A gift at this level will ensure our students receive the best education to become leaders in the profession!

Scholarly Activity

The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences promote student and graduate participation in scholarly activity and policy development that enhances the educational process, the professions and health care. A gift at this level will help students be able to focus on their studies and research, rather than figuring out how they will pay for their education.

Patient Care

The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences promotes student and graduate service opportunities to the University, the community and the professions that contribute to enhancing overall patient care. A gift at this level will provide education to train MIRS students how to best care for our patients!

One Full Scholarship

A gift at this level will provide one FULL scholarship for a well-deserving MIRS student!
