Thank You

August 20, 2018

We have reached over our $2500 goal and it’s all thanks to our generous supports like you! ASK is so exciting for our 2018-2019 school year and we cannot wait to host more events and offer our sisters some scholarships.

If your donation was on behalf of a company, please email ally.dicarlo@ou.edu to schedule a time for a company representative to come speak to our sisterhood. We cannot wait to hear from you!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING OUR WOMEN IN STEM!

Week 3

August 06, 2018

Well we are over halfway done with our campaign and this is the final stretch! Thank you to all of our donors; your contributions are very appreciated!

Sister highlights for this week include our former ASK president Mercedes Fugate! Mercedes is a senior electrical engineering major and served as ASK's president for the 2016-2017 academic year and is the current OU Engineering Queen, the treasurer of the Society of Women Engineers, and the secretary of Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This summer, Mercedes has been busy at a summer internship with OG&E at the Sooner Power Plants in red Rock, Oklahoma, but in previous summers, she interned with DRS Technologies in Dallas, Texas. We love all of your involvement!

The second sister highlight is Claire Deacon! Claire is a senior petroleum engineering major at the university. This summer, she has had the pleasure of interning with Chevron as a Reservoir Engineer at their Houston location. Way to persevere; we're so proud of you!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Week 2

July 30, 2018

Well week 2 is down in the books and we are making progress towards our goal! Thank you again to all of our supporters!

Our sister highlight of the week is our amazing treasurer Monica Ness! Monica is going into her junior year at OU and is studying chemistry. This summer, she went to Germany for a few weeks and took summer classes at OU's Norman campus to get ahead in her studies. ASK appreciates all your hard work!

The second sister highlight of the week is Ariel Jacobs! Ariel is a junior duel meteorology and computer science major at OU. Because of ASK's amazing company connections, Ariel has had the chance of working with Weather Decision Technologies throughout the summer! You make us proud!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic summer!

Week 1

July 23, 2018

It's been one week since our launch and we are so thankful to our supporters!

One of our sister highlights this week is Chloe Elkins! Chloe is a junior at OU and studying industrial and structural engineering. This summer, she and another ASK sister adventured to Brazil for OU's Engineering in Rio summer trip!

The second sister highlight is Casey Wouters! Casey is a sophomore studying chemistry at the university. She is also abroad this summer, but she is in Arezzo, Italy studying organic chemistry!

We're so proud of our adventurous sisters!

Day 1 of the Campaign!

July 16, 2018

We are so excited to be launching our Thousands Strong Campaign today. We have been preparing for this for months and the day is finally here! We would like to express our gratitude for visiting our page and listening to our story. Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is our passion and we would love to encourage more women to overcome their fear of failure and take the plunge into the degree!

Our sisters are out touring the world or working in a research facility for the summer! Follow our campaign for new sister updates every week.

Our first sister highlight is our self-less president Johanna Masterson! This amazing lady is conducting research at Princeton's Frick Chemistry Laboratory through the SURP-DC program, a summer undergraduate research program for diversity in chemistry. She previously held an ASK scholarship chair and the 2018 Masquerade chair. ASK appreciates all your hard work, Johanna!

The second sister highlight is our fearless vice president Katy Felkner! Katy is entering her junior year at OU and pursuing a degree in computer science, but her general studies led her to studying garden history in Italy for the summer. Way to explore the world, girly!

Have a wonderful day!

Levels
Choose a giving level

$10

Snacks and Beverages

College students are more likely to attend an event if free food is promised. A donation of this amount will guarantee great food and beverages at the ASK hosted events and will help to draw in more potential members.

$25

With this donation level, we can spread the word of our organization with flyers and posters around campus. This would cover the price of printing for one event!

$50

Event Space

A donation of this size would allow ASK to rent a spot on campus so that we can host an event or study sessions for potential members! The more donations of this size we have, the more events that ASK can host and the more female STEM majors we can reach out to!

$100

Scholarship

Some of our members have trouble meeting the costs of tuition and our sorority fees. A donation of this amount will cover half of the cost of a full semester of membership for one of our active members. Donors will receive a written thank you note from one of our grateful sisters and be recognized by the chapter.

$500

Sponsorship

A generous donation of this size will provide a full scholarship to 2 members, help the organization host more recruitment events and study hall sessions, and cover the cost of travel to our retreat. Those who donate this amount will be recognized at all ASK hosted events, sent a written thank you card, and offered to speak to our members at one of our mandatory weekly meetings if the donation is on behalf of a company.
