At the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, we train the next generation of speech-language pathologists and audiologists. We are proud to be the only program offering the doctor of audiology degree in the state of Oklahoma, as well as the only program training master’s-level speech-language pathologists on a comprehensive health campus.
The department is home to the John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center, where students receive hands-on training in the treatment of disorders of speech, language, hearing and balance. Through the Keys Center, our faculty and providers serve the citizens of Oklahoma and model outstanding care for trainees.
In addition, the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is also a leader in clinical research in areas such as auditory rehabilitation, child language development and motor speech disorders.
Your support benefits all of our missions — student training, excellent care to Oklahomans and development of new knowledge. Donations to the Department go directly to supporting student scholarships, updating training equipment and providing new opportunities for students to train throughout Oklahoma and on service trips all over the world.
We are grateful for your support of our excellent students. Thank you, and BOOMER SOONER!
