The Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education is forging a path to be among the leaders in the fields of teacher education, administration, adult and higher education, counseling, educational technology, literacy and advocacy. Now more than ever, Oklahoma is in need of highly-qualified teachers and the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education is working to make that happen with innovative ideas such as the Debt-Free Teachers Program and one-to-one iPad use and instruction. Our faculty is at the forefront of conversations with local, state and national leaders in creating and advancing standards for various program areas.

Led by Dean Gregg Garn since 2012, the college is home to more than a dozen centers and institutes that directly help Oklahomans in their daily lives. Students are recognized for their work at local and national levels, and it is the goal to elevate support of faculty and students as they work to make a difference in the classroom and beyond.
